Summers County High School Family College Tour to the School of Osteopathic Medicine

Who: 11th/12th grade students at Summers County High School, and their family members

What: A GEAR UP Family College Tour of the School of Osteopathic Medicine

When: Thursday, September 23, 2010

Why: Students and their parents or family members can learn about medical science at the School of Osteopathic Medicine. Plus, participants will be entered for a chance to win a Dell laptop! Students who bring a parent or guardian with them will be entered for two chances to win!

Details: Transportation and lunch will be provided by WV GEAR UP. Seats are limited and reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. Only those students who attend will be entered to win the laptop.

1. You must reserve your space by registering online (click the link below), or by contacting Ms. Kirkham (phone #s listed at the bottom of the page).

2. Students must turn in a consent form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Consent forms may be turned in the morning of the event. No student will be able to board the bus unless they have returned the signed consent form.

3. If possible, students should bring a parent, legal guardian, or designated guardian (ex. grandparent) along for the trip.

The bus will depart from Summers County High School at 8 a.m. and return at 3 p.m.
