Roane County High School Family College Tour to Fairmont State and
the FBI Center

Who: 11th/12th grade students at Roane County High School, and their family members

What: A GEAR UP Family College Tour of Fairmont State University and the Clarksburg FBI Center

When: Thursday, September 16, 2010

Why: Students and their parents or family members can learn about life on Fairmont State’s campus and tour the FBI Center!

Details: Transportation and lunch will be provided by WV GEAR UP. Seats are limited and reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. Students who register will be required to complete a special permission form in order to visit the FBI center.

Want to go? Here’s how:

1. You must reserve your space by registering online (click the link below), or by contacting Ms. Poole or Ms. Bright (phone #s listed at the bottom of the page).

2. Students must turn in a consent form and a permission form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Consent forms may be turned in the morning of the event, but permission forms will be due no later than September 7. No student will be able to board the bus unless they have returned both the signed consent form and permission form.

3. If possible, students should bring a parent, legal guardian, or designated guardian (ex. grandparent) along for the trip.

Tour Schedule

The bus will depart from Roane County High School at 7 a.m. and return at 6 p.m.

Consent and Permission Forms

Students must return a signed parent/guardian consent form in order to participate. Students who register will be provided with a copy of the FBI permission form.
