West Virginia GEAR UP

So what is West Virginia GEAR UP?
WV GEAR UP is a program designed to make sure you succeed. In school. In college. In life. The program provides things like tutoring, field trips to colleges, mentoring, information about financial aid, extra money for college, and better classroom technology. Each GEAR UP school has a "site coordinator." The coordinators are there to organize GEAR UP events, plan activities, and help you get ready for education after high school. GEAR UP isn't in every school, so check the link below to see if yours has it. Oh, and one more thing. GEAR UP is mostly for 3 age groups: juniors, seniors and the class of 2014. If you don't fall into one of those groups, you may have to wait awhile to participate.
